Manan Ansari, (23) Jharkhand
He worked in Mica mines in Jharkhand at the age of 10 to support his family. He was rescued by Bachpan Bachao Andolan and rehabilitated at Bal Ashram in the year  2007. He completed his schooling while living at the Bal Ashram and today he is pursuing a Ph.D. in  Microbiology.
