ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPH
The photo is from one of our Banjara Education Centres (बंजारा शिक्षा केंद्र) for children belonging to nomadic communities. We established these centres in 2008 with the aim of reducing the incidence of child labor, improving access to education, and decreasing the migratory practices of the nomadic population. Through these centres, we have been able to positively impact over 4,075 lives so far.
By establishing these centres within the heart of the communities, we have been able to positively impact over 4075 lives by providing access to quality education, especially for girls.
ABOUT THE CONTEST
We are thrilled to announce a unique contest aimed at raising awareness and promoting girls' education. To participate, write a description, a poem or a short-story based on the photo shared above.
